Shipping and Trial Policies

ALL SADDLE ORDERS COME WITH A 5-DAY TRIAL PERIOD.

Simply order the saddle that you are interested in trying through our website by clicking the “order for trial” button on the saddle’s page. Full payment will be taken at checkout via credit card, debit card or through our payment plan provider, Affirm. Once the order has been received, it will be shipped within 1 business day (usually same day if ordered before 12pm EST). We offer free shipping in the US and we also ship world-wide (prices vary).

The 5 day trial begins the day the saddle is delivered. If you decide to return the saddle, you must email support@highlinetack.com to notify us that the saddle is to be returned and we will send you a shipping label to send it back to us. This email must be sent before or upon completion of the 5-­day trial. There will be a return card that comes in the box with the saddle that explains the return process. On the sixth day, the saddle becomes the property of the customer and no returns for any reason will be accepted. There are no exceptions made, unless made prior to or during the trial in writing (email or text message). The return shipping fee $75 (which includes full insurance) will be deducted from your refund.

*Please note: We are closed on the weekends. If you email us for a return request, we will reply on the following Monday with the return shipping label (UPS does not pickup Ground shipments on the weekends).

Once we get the saddle back and confirm that it is in the same condition in which it left, we will contact you within 1 business day. You will have the option to use the credit from the return towards another saddle order. Or, we will process your refund (minus the return shipping fee and restocking fee). Please note that if a refund is processed, it can take up to 5-10 business days to process on your end. However, it’s normally just a few business days.

There is a $100 restocking fee for all saddles returned from 5-day trials. However, you will never pay a restocking fee if you end up with a saddle from us within 30 days, no matter how many you try. If a saddle is returned, the restocking fee will be taken out of the refund, but it can be used as a credit towards the next saddle purchase within a 30 day time period. If multiple saddles are tried, the restocking fee credit time period begins at the end of the original trial.

We have a saddle studio in Chapel Hill. We are currently in a temporary location while we build our new facility. Please call/text/email to arrange an appointment.

If you find a saddle (or saddles) that you’d like to try, simply check it out and take it with you for a trial. If you need assistance with saddle fitting for your horse, you can send photos of your horse’s withers/shoulder area from the side and behind to finelinetack@gmail.com and we can make sure to prepare a selection that is suitable for your horse.
